This quilt is made using a mix of FPP (foundation paper piecing) and EPP (English paper piecing as it combines the traditional hexagon shape with some points to make the stars. The fabrics used are Imaginary Flowers by Gingiber for Moda Fabrics and I love the soft muted palette of the fabrics which give such a gentle vibe to the quilt. The wadding is Cotton Mix 80:20 from Vlieseline. The quilt contains approx. 8 yards of quilting cotton and was made as a workshop project which I taught in The Thread House Academy. This quilt is a one-off and was designed and made by Lynne Goldsworthy.
