This quilt was made using Conway Cottage and Freckles fabrics by Karen Lewis Textiles for Andover fabrics combined with Makower solids. The design is bold and simple, taking triangles split into three and combining them into hexagons for a very modern take on traditional triangle and hexagon quilt designs. The fabrics show off Karen’s signature palette of dusky greys, blues and mustards for a modern and restful vibe. The wadding is Cotton Mix 80:20 from Vlieseline. The quilt contains approx. 10 yards of quilting cotton and was made for Love Patchwork & Quilting magazine. This quilt is a one-off and was designed and made by me.
