When this quilt appeared on Sewing Street, I called it the Poinsettia Quilt but I think I prefer the name “The Winter Stars Quilt” because these fabrics are so dark and glittery and wintery – yes it’s a Christmas fabric line but it’s so evocative of the lights twinkling on the trees in the depths of winter for me. The wadding is Cotton Mix 80:20 from Sewing Street. The quilt contains approx. 9 yards of quilting cotton and was made for Sewing Street. This quilt is a one-off and was designed and made by Lynne Goldsworthy.
